What is a rose flower essence?

A rose flower essence is a liquid that holds within its matrix the vibrational imprint of the life-force information of rose blooms or petals. It is made by placing them into a glass or crystal bowl of pure water and placing them in sunlight or moonlight for several hours. The flower petals are then removed, the liquid is strained into light protective bottles and the liquid is preserved with an alcohol, vinegar, glycerin, or Red Shiso preservative. This is called the "Mother Essence.". Subsequent dilutions of the Mother Essence are bottled for oral or topical applications.

Are rose flower essences different from essences from other flowers?

​Rose flower essences are similar to other flower essences by virtue of the way that they are formulated. (See above). However, they are different in that the Rose was created in the higher spiritual realms of pure perfection and need no further evolution while all other flowers are still evolving*. This places the Rose in a unique category of healing – as she offers spiritual healing beyond the mental and emotional healing focus of many other flowers and their flower essences.

All roses carry this healing signature, even hybridized roses. The overarching healing signature of the Rose is that it is a "system of medicine to help [the human soul] return to the realm of spirit."*

Are rose flower essences the same as rose essential oils?

Flower essences and essential oils are not the same. A flower 

essence is a liquid that holds the vibrational imprint of the flower within its matrix. It does not carry the fragrance.

An essential oil is extracted from the petals of the flower using steam distillation or alcohol extraction methods. These processes extract the chemicals that create the fragrance. Hence, the pleasant aroma of the flower's fragrance is present in the oil. 

The method of formulating a flower essence does not extract the fragrance of the flower petals. Using pure Water, sunlight and spiritual intention, the flower's unique healing qualities are imprinted into Water and preserved.

How do I use rose flower essences in my healing journey?

​Rose flower essences are here to assist and inspire us to make positive, and many times, life-impacting changes in the way we view and relate to our environment, and react in our personal relationships. They can positively influence our relationship with Nature and our relationship with our-self. The Rose's overarching healing signature is of Unconditional Love in all directions and at all scales and dimensions of the human Soul and Creation - as the Soul journeys on its return to the Oneness of Spirit.

How do you apply Rosaflora Divine Light Flower Essences?

Our Divine Light Essences are for topical use only. This is because we have added Rosa Damascena (Damask Rose) essential oil to the flower essence to enhance the healing using the meridian system of the body, Do not take the essences orally by mouth.

You can apply our rose flower essences to the meridians and/or meridian source points on the body. The flower essence's life force energy becomes the catalyst that stimulates the movement of chi, or life force, through the body via the meridian system. Changing the catalyst for this stimulation from metal acupuncture needles to the living language of rose flowers creates a conversation between our inner emotional, mental and spiritual nature and our outer physicalnature that is new, refreshing, and uplifting.
